Awesome birthday dinner at “Le Bistrot Gourmand” a reasonably priced “french cuisine” restaurant. Great food but the portions are really huge!!!
Salmon tartare recipe is the easiest, yet the most elegant way to serve fish. I found this recipe in a magazine from our local supermarket, and decided to give it a go. I changed it a bit to my liking. It’s a perfect appetizer for a festive meal. And since today is my birthday.... *** The recipe of this elegant salmon tartare can be found on my blog (link in bio) *** #foodblogger_lu #letzgetcooking #salmontartare #bloggerlu #blogger_lu #foodblogger #watetenwevandaag #bloggersluxembourg #foodphotography #feedfeed #top_food_of_instagram #healthy #healthyrecipes #foodblogfeed
A dessert is okay occasionally, and since I still had a jar of "crème de marrons" (sweetened chestnut cream) in the cupboard, I decided to use this for a delicious mousse. No worries, it is really easy to make. I served it with some blueberry compote. Make sure to prepare an extra batch of this compote, since it tastes great on pancakes (in the morning) *** The recipe of this delicious dessert can be found on my blog (link in bio) *** #foodphotography #feedfeed #top_food_of_instagram #healthy #healthyrecipes #foodblogfeed #watetenwevandaag #dessert #blueberrycompote #chestnutmousse #foodblogger_lu #letzgetcooking #bloggerlu #blogger_lu #foodblogger #bloggersluxembourg
The end of the month means participating in the #foodblogswap. I got to chose a recipe from @waymadi. Madelon is a multi cult foodie who was born and raised in the Northern Netherlands. Her family is a fusion of different roots and her husband is also an avid hobby cook. They cook halal and love to experiment with different world cuisines. Since April 2018 Madelon eats low-carb because of health reasons. She has a great recipe for golden flaxseed wraps, which I wanted to share with all of you. *** The recipe of these healthy and low-carb wraps can be found on my blog (link in bio) *** #foodphotography #feedfeed #top_food_of_instagram #healthy #healthyrecipes #foodblogfeed #foodblogswap #keto #lowcarb #flaxseedwrap #foodblogger_lu #letzgetcooking #bloggerlu #blogger_lu #foodblogger #bloggersluxembourg
Foie royale with onion confit mousse and gingerbread pearls is a real festive dish. We ate this on New Year's Eve. If you want to know how to make this mousse and these pearls, I added it to the blogpost about the "onion confit with red wine" which can be found on my blog (link in bio) #foodphotography #feedfeed #top_food_of_instagram #healthy #healthyrecipes #foodblogfeed #foodblogger_lu #letzgetcooking #influenceluxembourg #bloggerlu #blogger_lu #foodblogger #igersluxembourg #igerslux #bloggersluxembourg #watetenwevandaag
I received a cookbook for reviewing, called "SURIMAM Cooking". In this second cookbook of the three sisters Moreen, Aretha and Martha Waal, you can find sixty authentic Surinamese recipes with the emphasis on fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs. The classic recipes are occasionally given a modern twist, which makes this kitchen attractive for the current generations. The only problem for me, living in Luxemburg, was to find all the ingredients, so whilst experimenting some recipes were being modified while others just got skipped. I honestly have no idea where to find those special vegetables around here. But I found this great recipe for chicken stew in the book, which I could easily make, with just a few modifications. *** The recipe of this cashew chicken stew can be found on my blog (link in bio) *** #foodphotography #feedfeed #top_food_of_instagram #healthy #healthyrecipes #foodblogfeed #surinamesefood #Surimamcooking #platefulflavors #chickenstew #foodblogger_lu #letzgetcooking #bloggerlu #blogger_lu #foodblogger #bloggersluxembourg

Cucumber and radish salad with nasturtiums.

Sonja 27 June 2018

I found my inspiration for this recipe in the “cucumber, radishes and red onion salad” from the book “Persiana” by Sabrina Ghayour. But I made some major alterations. I added a lot of gorgeous nasturtium flower leaves to the salad, …
